From Saturday December 14th until Saturday February 15th 2025, the federal government has announced a temporary HST/GST holiday for Canadians. This means certain goods will be tax free! Here at F.G.Bradley’s we are excited to say that many of our products qualify, with some restrictions.
How do I know if my product qualifies for the tax break?
Included below is a list of products that qualify and what will not. If you are confused about if your product qualifies, add the item to your cart and go to checkout. If the item qualifies, no or only the appropriate tax will be shown at the time of checkout. If you are in-store, our employees will do their best to assist you. Please be patient and considerate to our staff during this time, the government only gave two week notice and gave unclear instructions on qualifying items. We are not experts and our staff can’t answer questions or make changes. If you have any complaints, please contact your MP. List subject to change without notice.
*Items must be picked up or with a courier by February 15th otherwise the item will not qualify. No items can be put on hold*

- Jigsaw puzzles (any age)
- Playing Cards
- Models
- Candies
- Puzzlers labeled for ages 13+ or younger
- Chess
- Checkers
- Backgammon
- Dice
NOT included in save the HST/GST
- Adult and drinking games
- Metal Earth (as is age 14+)
- Sporting goods including darts, billiards and table tennis accessories
- Billiard tables and game tables
- DIY kits (as is age 14+)
- D&D Figurines (as is age 14+)
- Accessories for modeling such as glue, paint brushes and paint
- Accessories for puzzles such as glue and puzzle storage
