Wegiel Chess King’s 48 19in European Wooden Chess Set

Description

This chess set is a wonderfully detailed collectible. Each chess piece is carved from solid hornbeam and sycamore. The chess pieces can be stored inside the folding board when not in use. There is an individual compartment for each chess piece. This chess set is made from renewable plantation wood.

The king is 3.4in (8.7cm); the queen is 2.32in (5.9cm); the pawn is 1.81in (4.6cm). The board measures 19in x 18.5in x 1.97in (47.8cm x 46.8cm x 5cm); each square measures 1.77in x 1.77in (4.5cm x 4.5cm) and the felt bottom chessmen are made from hornbeam and sycamore. Handcrafted in Poland.
